The Columbia Hotel is an operational hotel and event venue located at 95-99 Lancaster Gate. It currently has 103 bedrooms and operates within the budget hotel market.
It is the backdrop for great creative output. The five large event rooms are well-known shoot and filming locations for brands, editorial outlets and production houses. Typical hires include national and international advertising campaigns, magazine editorial, music videos, television and cinematic feature releases. Clients include Asos, Netflix, BBC, Sony, John Lewis, Dior, Harrods,Vogue,Vanity Fair and others.
The Columbia has changed over time
The original townhouses have a rich history – from private Victorian residences in the 1800s, to a hospital in WW1 and, between
the 1950s and 1970s, the US Air Force officers’ club.
